Let me start with how difficult it is to buy good quality travel sized skincare products on our Indian websites. Don’t you think so? I guess these are things you don’t really notice until you need some. I am not too fussy about skin on a flight.. A cleanser, toner and moisturizer is all I really need. Which is why this discovery set caught my attention. Thalgo is luxurious but expensive to buy individually. A miniature kit is a great way to try them. They have three kinds of sets. Oxygen, Hydration and Comfort. The Oxygen kit priced at 1,385 INR has these four products-
Cleansing water – Erases all traces of impurities in a single step. Ingredients: Red Algae, Grapefruit extract.
This is a micellar solution, in a 50ml bottle. I expected it to be something more than Bioderma or the Loreal micellar waters. It is no, does the job though.
Exfoliator – This gentle cream cleanses the skin deep down, eliminating all impurities that dull the complexion. Ingredients: Red Algae, Grapefruit extract, Polyethylene microbeads, Menthol.
The exfoliator is creamy with teeny exfoliating beads. Think The body shop’s Vitamic C microdermabrasion. You only need a little bit, it spready nicely. The scrub is pale blue coloured, tingly and cooling. The tube holds 30ml of product. The full size tube is 50ml for around 1,700 INR.
Oxygen 3-defence cream – To help your skin breathe and maintain it’s youthful apperance. Ingredients: Micro-alga and peptide complex, Lipomoist complex.
The cream comes in a 30ml tube, has a beautiful gel-cream feel, glides on easily, leaves a sheeny film but not greasy at all. It has a light refreshing scent. Think sea and salt water? The full size (50ml tub) of this costs 2,690 INR.
Eye patch mask – A youthful boost for your eye contours. Ingredients: Promarine complex, Matrixyl 6 complex, Vitapeptides, Liftiline complex, Allantoine.
Oh boy, I actually lost it before I could use it.. bummed since that was what really made me get the set.
All the products are lovely. They are small and didn’t leak or explode. Perfect for travel methinks!
I bought it from Jabong.
