Azafran Snan – Rosemary & Cream

Azafran Soap

This was sent to me with my Azafran purchase. So glad they did cos I wouldn’t really pick it on my own. This little bar blew me away, guys!  Have I missed some kind of soap evolution? It doesn’t dry out skin and it doesn’t lather much. What I loved most about it was how it smells. Not Herbal, not exactly sweet or citrusy. Quite honestly, new to my olfactory nerves and makes me think of Heidi in the Alps… Milk, cream, soothing and lush. I mean look at it, it looks like a block of cheese. Azafran products are certified organic and use ingredients grown from their own farms! Pretty cool, right?

This is what the website says about it:

Enriched with rosemary freshly picked from our farms and distilled at our site, this oil has potent antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Formulated with this potent rosemary oil and a highly moisturizing mixture of safflower butter, safflower oil , sunflower oil, coconut oil and milk cream, this soap has a mild creamy lather that leaves the skin soft and supple as though the skin is freshly moisturized, with no trace of dryness. This soap is mild enough to be used on the most sensitive of the skin and can be safely used on face and all over the body.

It makes me a little less sad now that Lush is closing down business in India. It’s priced at 200 INR for 100 gm.

Available at Azafran, Natural Mantra and Eco Tokri. You get to choose two samples from Azafran Website but will cost 100 INR as shipping charges for purchase under 3000 INR.
