February Favorites

Februaryfavorites2014

February for me was a stressful month. So every now and then, I found myself reaching for calming products or happy little things to do.

Succulents are a cute little way to prep up a corner, don’t you think? And even just walking around the plant nursery was so relaxing. I picked up this one to keep on my desk.

Zara roll-on perfume is such a lovely little pick-me-up. It doesn’t have great staying power which I think is perfect for work or a train-ride.

Any.do helped me focus. It’s a task-noting app. If you are one of those people who have a million things to do but don’t get them done on time, I believe this app will help.

Click the picture for a link to it. I love how simple it is to look at, use and it has voice detection! It works so good as a widget on my android phone (can’t tell if it works the same way on iOS). Notice the green dollar sign on the right-side of “organize bills” ..it will suggest you app to help with that particular task. Pretty cool!

Lena Dunham’s “The Cover Girl” dance. Have you guys watched this? It’s Vogue’s reenactment of a dance Lena did in the TV series “Girls”. It’s just beautiful. Click the picture for link.

Feeling a little..

under the weather. I intend to give myself loads of sleep and a lovely manicure with Grey Matter by Faces. Pedi is already done!

grey-matter-facesTalking about Pedi, loving the beautiful aptly named, pink bath-bomb Comforter by Lush. It smells so freakin good! I know it’s meant for baths but that doesn’t happen as often as I would like to use this stuff..so at pedi time it is.

I hope you all have a lovely day!

5 Favorite TV Shows

I am obsessed with Showbox right now. If you don’t know, It’s a TV show app. You can watch shows and movies on internet, on your smartphone or tablet. They have a pretty intensive list of shows and movies. Check it out here!

So here’s my favorite five.

Masters of Sex

Masters-of-sex

It’s a grown-up show, which you can probably tell by the title. I don’t want to spoil the story so I will just say it’s set in 1950s and the story revolves around research of human sexuality. Did you know Hoover vacuums were invented before the knowledge that women did not need men to orgasm? Crazy, right?

Elementary

Elementary

My favorite Sherlock Holmes series out of all the others! I love Lucy Liu as Dr.Watson and Jonny Lee Miller is perfect as Sherlock. They make such a gorgeous team, don’t you think? Sadly, there are only two seasons and I really hope they make more.

Archer

Archer

Archer is a grown-up comedy. It’s freaking hilarious! Sometimes, things don’t have to make sense and that’s how I would describe this kind of comedy (think South Park) but it’s so much fun to watch.

Go On

Go-on

I love Matthew Perry and he is so funny. This show is about a bunch of people going through a rough time but it’s not all sad and soppy. It’s actually a good mix. If you are going through a bad time, I think this can help you focus on positive things and get better.

Devious maids

Devious-maidsIt’s a comedy drama about bunch of maids working in Beverly Hills caught in a mystery about who killed their friend. Kind of a quick watch with 13 episodes.

If you have any recommendations for me, please let me know in the comments. Have a good day!

Visit to a Plant Nursery

Plants in bunches look so nice. I have a row of space I can put them in, parallel to the front door. That would make a lovely house entry-way. So I went to a plant nursery yesterday and the choices! I just want to pick up everything. But managed to final down four I love. Help me decide the final one.
