Guerlain Rouge G #520 is a sheer pink with a subtle PH reaction. I bought this online and didn’t find it hydrating enough. Also, it didn’t show up on my lip much. When I was moving, this is all I had and it grew on me. It’s scent is alright (“floriental” as described on the website) but the formulation is what sets it apart I think. It’s a matte- like finish, perfect before applying their Rouge G lipsticks. It’s got a bit of adherence that feels very light and makes lipstick swiping slight tackier. On it’s own, it gives a light tint that you can build up and same goes for moisturizing. Loved using it and repurchased. (more…)
Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment Plus
This is a conditioning oil meant for dry hair and scalp. I don’t have particulary dry scalp but it tends to get tad scaly after every colouring session. I recently went a dark brown/almost black. My hair looks less shiny and the scalp is screaming for some moisture. I dug my finger in at the shop and just had to get it. The texture is a rich butter, melts as soon as you rub it and smells pretty darn incredible. The texture although thicker than coconut oil at room temperature spreads just like it.
My hair is naturally wavy with lots of volume. I will usually just work on taming and maybe ocasionally blowdrying them. Over the past few weeks though, I have taken liking to straight -not pin straight, just slight bed-heady straight!
Apart from feeling creative with my title here, I think this heat protectant has one of the best misting nozzle in the drugstore. (more…)
Kerato is a scalp condition where the skin undergoes rapid formation of new skin cells causing scaly layers of skin. The affected area can get itchy. It can happen on other parts of the body too. This shampoo is specifically targeted as Kerato-reducing.
I bought this simply cos my scalp was irritated and itchy. If it helps people with Kerato, it’s got to work with a bit of itchiness, right? It sure did! The “magic” ingredient here is Kertyol. Kertyol is an active ingredient, made of salicylic and glycolic acid. Two very popular ingredients in the skincare industry! You apply it just like you would with a normal shampoo but remember to let it sit on your scalp for atleast 3 mins before washing it out.
It gets your scalp and hair squeaky clean. Like SQUEAKY CLEAN! You can feel it. Which is exactly why I don’t use it more than once a week and that too only when I feel like a bit of that dry itchy feel coming on. Here’s a picture of the fancy contents.
