As my skin is back to its dry self, thanks to retinol I need a routine that acts as a barrier from cold wind.
Starting with base, primer that really is nothing like a silicone/dimethecone heavy ones. Primirizer, by Smashbox is a lovely moisturiser with a little smoothing effect. Top that with Chanel Les Beiges tinted moisturiser. The shade “light deep” is visibly dark on me. Shade “medium plus” pulls ashy on certain areas so I’m not loving the range but a light layer adds some eveness and moisture. Spot correct with Nars natural radiant longwear foundation. It looks darker in the picture above because of shadows. I use it as concealer too as It sets well and doesn’t creep into my eyes. Although, I have to powder (with dim light) in couple of hours as my natural oils come to surface.
Enjoying wearing a bronzer for definition. It’s either Guerlain Teracotta (02) or luminous bronze light from Hourglass Ambient lighting edit palette. Both have subtle shimmers in them that are only visible in direct light. Nothing on the eyes except lightly curling them. I have had quite sensitive eyes recently so I’m ruling out eye makeup. A bit of gel to set the brows in shape.
There you have it, a non-detectable but put together start to the day.
