Empties #2

image
My drawers needs to be emptied asap. There’s alot of empties since November last year but I’m going to pick out the interesting ones.

Sainsbury Skintherapy Moisturiser. Look at that jar! Sure looks like it should be worth more than £8. The product itself is lovely too. It’s a light cream, texture slightly leaning on gel-side. I could find absolutely no information about it online. That is the only reason I won’t repurchase it.

Liz Earle Skin Tonic. This to me seemed like fancy water. It smells nice and hence calming but didn’t seem to have any effect on my skin. I remain undecided. It is on Caroline Hiron’s best list alongside my favorites -Loreal Vit C and Pixi Glow Tonic.

Loreal Refreshing Toner with Vitamin C. Now this stuff is the one I will always have around. Other than the face, it’s great to rid ingrown hair gently.

Loreal Micellar Water. I thought this was breaking me out and switched to the Garnier one after. Unfortunately, they are not doing well on my skin for some reason. Does anyone else feel like it’s drying overtime? I have moved on to an oil based remover now.

Nip + Fab is quickly becoming one of my favorite drugstore brands. Their products are innovative and at that price, there’s nothing quite like it. Hyaluronic fix body gel should be a summer staple. It’s light and cooling on skin, best part -smells like pina colada!

Ojon rare blend oil was lovely to use. I doesn’t stand out to me as anything special. It works as well as some other oily silicone products I own. The choice is in the scent I guess.

Spa Sanctuary body butters are amazing. This one was an oily cream. I prefer these over The Body Shop body butters. The soufflés from Spa Sanctuary are my favorites and I will keep buying them.

Hand Food. I am not sure if this should be in the list even. I have gone through a dozen tubes of these. It’s a lovely basic hand cream. I am also through skin food by Weleda which is long gone and probably my favorite multitasker.

Hope everyone is doing well. I am going though a major Charlottle Tilbury moment. Everything in her collection is on point. I own nothing from her line but I think that’s about to change soon. Any on your wishlist? Have my eyes on the micro-powder nestled in that beautiful rose gold compact.
