Liz Earle Skin Tonic

Liz Earle Skin TonicThe fragrance is unmissable. You either like it or don’t. I think it’s lovely. Calming and very floraly, unusual for a toner. Probably not best for sensitive skin, which I tend to have but this didn’t worsen my skin. It’s packed with natural ingredients. Here’s the list:

Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Glycerin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Parfum (Fragrance), Tocopheryl Acetate, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Linalool, Limonene, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citronellol, Sodium Hydroxide, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Geraniol, Coumarin, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid.

The packaging is nice looking, travel friendly and sturdy. Product is watery and dispenses from a twist up cap.

I am going back to L’OrΓ©al’s Refreshing Toner soon. That one has a light exfoliating factor to it, which I prefer but doesn’t feel good on active “pink state” of breakouts. Which was the main reason I switched to this one. Skin Tonic is not drying. Rather calming on spotty skin. It seems expensive for what it is though. Β£13 for 200ml with nothing ”special” in it. As much as I enjoyed using it, I probably won’t be re-purchasing it. Yet, this is a good choice for someone who wants a basic toner with some antioxidants, no bad ingredients and who don’t mind the fragrance.

Availabe at John Lewis, QVC, Amazon
